When the Beatles toured Australia in 1961, there was only one journalist selected to accompany the Fab Four around the nation - Aussie radio personality Bob Rogers.
50 years later, to comemorate the historic visit, Bob was asked to unveil a special plaque at the original site of the Sydney Stadium, where the Beatles first performed live. Naturally, Bob wanted to mark the occasion with one of Australia's favourite Beatles tribute bands BEATLE MAGIC.
Band leader, Bill Croft, was undoubtedly overjoyed when he heard about the honour that was about to be bestowed upon his group of lads and made sure BEATLE MAGIC was "ready to Rock and Roll"!
